Greetings from sunny Arizona!
Today marks our last rehearsal before heading down to Brazil on Wednesday. It’s always exciting playing somewhere for the first time, but this time is even more exciting because we haven’t played a show together in 4 and a half months. This summer has been incredible for all of us, the time off was much needed, we’ve written some great songs that we can’t wait to share with the world and spent time reconnecting with friends and family.
Above all, for me, it’s made me realize how much I’ve missed playing with the band. By the end of our European tour last April, I was a little burnt out, we’d been on the road for 10 out of the last 12 months and nothing sounded better than that four letter word, home.
But the time off has given me that desire back. That desire to play music and travel with my best friends. Here’s to starting it all up again, I couldn’t be more excited for the next few months, hope you guys are too.
